| Greetings!
Our Campaign is rapidly moving forward thanks to the wonderful support we have received from all of you!!! So many of you have reached out and shared your stories as well as made the introductions to others who also have value to share with others. I am looking forward to hearing from more of you!
As you know, the purpose of this Campaign is to honor our veterans of today and yesterday as well as to create awareness about the multitude of organizations and support elements that there are available not only to our veterans but to their families. Please feel free to share any of the information that I pass along with others who think may benefit from it!
As a 21 year veteran myself, I know what it is like to transition back into the civilian sector and sometimes it can be a lonely road to travel especially after the camaraderie that we all enjoyed on active duty. What I do know now though, is that there is an abundance of resources available both socially and professionally for those that will make the effort to reach out. Sure, we still have a long way to go in taking care of our own after the uniform is packed away but together we can reach out and make it TOGETHER!

|  This month I got to meet the author, Judy Smith and her book "Reporting For Doodie". This book will have you both laughing and crying, often at the same time! As the mother of a deployed daughter and son-in-law, she assumes the full time care of grandson. Get your copy here. | | Live Voice Messages For The Troops |  If you haven't had a chance to leave your voice message for the troops, please take a moment to do so immediately. The deadline for posting live voice messages is November 7th. This will allow us enough time to compile them and get them forwarded to the troops in time for Veteran's Day.
