In order to help make your transition less daunting, the Real Warriors Campaign has worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to produce a three-part series of feature articles that highlights frequently asked questions from Service members and families in transition, and to discusses how VA is changing the way it communicates with veterans in the digital age.
| | Veterans Affairs Health Benefits Overview | The first article in our series introduces you to VA and the VA health care system. Topics include eligibility, how to enroll, and how to find a VA facility.
| | Compensation, Pension, and Other VA Benefits | In the second article, we answer some frequently asked questions about the VA's programs for disability compensation, pension and vocational rehabilitation of veterans.
| | Veterans Affairs in the Digital Age | | While the first two articles of this series addressed frequently asked questions and offered helpful information about many of VA's services listed above, the final article discusses some of the changes veterans will start to see in future communications with VA. | | | Upcoming Events | | Bloggers Roundtable | At 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, November 9, 2010, Real Warrior profilees Maj. | | Hearts of Heroes PSA | | | Your Profile Here | Sharing stories lets warriors know that they are not alone in dealing with a psychological wound or traumatic brain injury. Talking about the psychological effects of war on service members openly breaks down stigma. Learning what others are doing to address these issues creates new opportunities for healing.
