By now just about everyone knows the legislature appropriated $5 million for base realignment.
More than 30 of you contacted local legislators and legislators throughout the state to encourage their support.
I want to say thank you. Your contact helped show that our community is firmly behind the many changes going on at the base and this $5 million will go a long ways down this new path.
