Veterans Recruitment Workshop for Higher Education

  • Audience: College/University Directors of HR, Admissions, Student Life, and Veterans Services and representatives from each of the various degree programs/colleges
  • Purpose: To gain information, motivation and direction to attract military veterans to campus as both students and employees.
  • Format: The keynote for the higher education workshop includes the following topics:
    • understanding the veteran's challenge to pursuing additional/higher education
    • best practices colleges and universities can institute to help (support systems, policies, programs, etc.)
    • Government and corporate grants available to finance these initiatives

    Event organizers then have the option to choose which hiring topics to add on from our popular webinar series:
    • Military Applicant Sourcing Options
    • Hiring Disabled Military Veterans
    • Translating the Military Resume and Interviewing Tips
    • Marketing to Attract the Military Applicant

    The keynote is about 1 to 1-1/2 hours and each of the additional topics is about 60-90 minutes. The event can be customized to your needs and outside/in-house experts are welcome as panelists. There is a speaker fee for a full day workshop, and travel expenses are separate. A deposit is required to hold your requested date.
